Dragon’s Crown gets cross-platform multiplayer
Fourth game update available today in Japan.Atlus and VanillaWare have updated Dragon’s Crown to support cross-platform multiplayer.
The fourth update, available today in Japan, allows PlayStation 3 owners and PS Vita owners to play together online.
The patch’s full change list includes:
- Improved the operational stability under specific circumstances.
- PlayStation 3 users and PS Vita users can enjoy co-op and competitive play together via Cross-Play.
- As not to throw them away by mistake, you can protect your items with an on / off switch.
- In the “Game Settings 2″ screen, you can set NPCs to join or not join.
- Each class’ skill effects and behavior have been adjusted.
- NPC behavior has been adjusted.
- The matching conditions for the Labyrinth of Chaos have been alleviated. You can now connect regardless of round number.
- Operability improvements and feature comforting
- Improvements to operability and functionality, etc.

JÁ JOGOU ESSA BELEZURA?
A minha paixão por beat 'em ups começou há muito tempo e princialmente influenciada por Streets of Rage. Depois de um tempo conheci os fantasiosos e que traziam elementos de RPG, como o caso do excelente clássico King of the Dragons (Arcade/SNES/PS2) da Capcom. Ano passado a Vanillaware lançou um RPG de ação nestes moldes, ou nos de D&D (também da Capcom), e o que tivemos foi um banho de nostalgia.
Hoje, praticamente 1 ano depois do release original japonês, a Vanillaware anunciou em seu Twitter que DC atingiu a marca de 940 mil cópias vendidas mundo afora. Lá no Siliconera citaram que isso pode condizer tanto com cópias de fato vendidas como as enviadas aos lojistas, mas oficialmente da a entender que se trata do primeiro caso.
É muito bom ver o sucesso do ARPG e fico na torcida por uma continuação! Tenho que voltar a jogá-lo.
