Amidst a lot of talk of Steam and virtual reality, one of the biggest surprises of GDC is an old-fashioned game announcement. Wasteland 2, the crowd-funded RPG released last year for PC and Mac, will be making its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Included with this console release are a new quirks and perks system, a new precision strike system, improved graphics courtesy of Unity 5, and new voice acting. All these changes will also be making their way to the PC version. No release date or pricing has been given. Those interested in Wasteland 2 can check out Glenn Wilson's review of the PC version. |
