Sony announces PlayStation Vita TV
Sony is preparing PlayStation Vita TV, a lightweight TV game console for Japanese consumers, the company announced during SCEJA Press Conference 2013.
Due out on November 14 in Japan for 9,480 yen (9,945 yen with tax), or 14,280 yen (14,994 yen with tax) for the Value Pack including a DualShock 3 and 8 gigabyte memory card, the system will allow users to play PS Vita and PSP games on the TV, as well as access video and network services like Tsutaya TV, Hulu, or Nico Nico Douga.
PS Vita TV also works as a companion device for PlayStation 4. Users can take a PS Vita TV into one room, and have a PS4 in another room remote play to the PS Vita TV.
