Ragnarok Odyssey Ace (PS3/PSVita)

Não faz muito tempo, foi no final do ano passado na verdade, que Ragnarok Odyssey foi lançado no Ocidente pela XSEED. Como fã de RO fiquei feliz de ver isso, mesmo não tendo um Vita. Contudo a GungHo Online Entertainment confirmara através da Famitsu que a Game Arts está trabalhando em Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, para ambos PS3 e PSVita.

As novidades que serão incluídas nesta edição atualizada conferem todas as DLCs lançadas no original assim como um novo episódio após o término da parte principal e já vista. 

Com sorte ele será localizado, mas isso pode demorar um pouco pois primeiro ele irá pintar no Japão a partir de 11 de Setembro.

Enter the new randomly-generated dungeon "Tower of Yggdrasil."

The latest issue of Famitsu revealed Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, an update to last year’s Ragnarok Odyssey, for PS Vita and PlayStation 3. Among a new episode set after the game’s ending, and all the download quests from the original game, the game will also feature a host of new elements. Find these additions detailed below.

Music

Monster

• Niizuegg (ニーズヘッグ): A black dragon. In addition to biting and scratch attacks, it can also breath strongly.

Skills

• ACE Skill.


• There are ACE skills per class now. Skills include attacks, movement, and recovery.


• In addition to button combinations for invoking a skill, there are also touch commands.


• Skills per class are different, and it appears there are a range of ways to customize them.

Classes

• Six classes are being carried over from the original game, but the illustrations have been redone.

Dungeon

• “Tower of Yggdrasil”: A randomly generated dungeon with a layered structure. You’ll need a specific item to get in. The further you go, the more powerful weapons and cards you can acquire. You can take breaks every five levels. Multiplayer is also possible.

Equipment

• “Harmonasu Weapon”: Using the right order, you can level up your weapon ability. Depending on how you level up, the shape of the weapon will also change.


• There are new items, like clothes and accessories, based on the new monsters. It appears you’ll be able to change their color.


• New cards have been added.

Other

• A “Mercenary Helper” system has been added.


• A “Mercenary Encyclopedia” with weapon and monster data, and a combat record showing play data, has been added.


• “Daily Quests”: GungHo planning to offer a different quest every day.

Subiria essa Torre de Yggdrasil animado com mais 3 pessoas. Assisti uma análise do título no IGN que não foi tão positiva e se comparar com os pontos reclamados tem alguns elementos idênticos no RPGFan, como repetição excessiva, falta de história e um manejamento ruim de inventário. De uma coisa quero muito ter certeza: isso não pode ser pior que Ragnarok DS!

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, GungHo Online Entertainment’s recently announced update to last year’s Ragnarok Odyssey, will be released for the western market, the Japanese publisher has confirmed. 

Ace includes all the content and downloadable quests from the original game, as well as a new episode set after the ending, a new “ACE Skill” battle system, a new randomly generated dungeon called “Tower of Yggdrasil,” and more. It will also be compatible in some part with Ragnarok Odyssey save data. Find more additions here.

In Japan, the game will launch for PS Vita on July 11 for 4,935 yen at retail and 3,900 yen via download. A PlayStation 3 version is also in development, but a release date and price were not announced.

O que ví do primeiro (do Vita) gostei bastante, iria pegar mas me falaram que era furada pq já tinha saído há um bom tempo, então era um pouco escasso o número de jogadores online

Agora com essa confirmação vale esperar mesmo a edição do PS3! Vamos ver se ela se sai melhor que o original pro Vita.
