Entre nos sonhos do Luigi no novo RPG do Mario

A Nintendo anunciou Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, a quarta entrada na série de RPGs com os irmãos encanadores.

O game será dentro da mente boba do Luigi, que pensa que é um poderoso e bravo herói nos seus sonhos. A tela de cima mostrará as batalhas e gameplay, enquanto a debaixo mostra o Luigi dormindo. Algumas das vezes, o jogador deverá interagir com Luigi para resolver puzzles. Esse sistema deverá ser algo similar ao que foi o do Bowser's Inside Story.

O jogo está previsto para lançar no verão americano de 2013 (metade do ano) para o Nintendo 3DS.

Tá na mira desde já. Aproveitando, há elos de história entre os 3 primeiros? Ou poderia pular já pro 3º e mais recente e depois continuar nesse aí? Se bem que, do que joguei do 1º, não quero perder nenhum que valha a pena.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team release date set
Mario and Luigi RPG due out on August 11.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team will launch for 3DS at retail and via download on August 11, Nintendo has announced.

The game is set on a mysterious island called Pi’illo Island where mysterious dreams exist. The story begins when Mario and company are invited to the island for sight-seeing. But while everyone is touring, Princess Peach is mysteriously kidnapped and pulled into Luigi’s dream world. The gate to his dream world, however, only appears when Luigi sleeps on a magical pillow.

It’s up to Mario to go back and forth between the real world and Luigi’s dream world to rescue Princess Peach. In the real world, Mario and Luigi must cooperate with each other to solve various obstacles. Brother attacks will allow the pair to do greater damage. And new battle sequences, some utilizing the 3DS’s unique capabilities, have been added.

In the dream world, players must interact with Luigi’s face on the bottom screen to make changes and solve puzzles on the upper screen. Players must also control a large number of Luigis in the dream world.

Estou gostando tanto do estilo gráfico desse novo Mario & Luigi. Posso estar enganado, mas me dá uma sensação nostálgica, Super Nintendística.

Melhor que isso só um Legend of the Seven Stars 2!

Parece ser um dos Mario RPG mais bacanas.

Li na Siliconera que o jogo está em produção há anos, porque decidiram fazer os personagens em sprite .

Baixei o demo e não curti, continua com a jogabilidade toda baseada em alternar os botões A e B e timing como o Mario e Luigi RPG do GBA, não gostei dessa característica

Ressuscitando o tópico para uma noticia sobre o mais novo jogo da série:

Nintendo of Europe revealed that the newest Mario & Luigi RPG, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, will be released in the region on December 4, 2015. The game was originally set for a worldwide release in early 2016, but it has been brought forward to December in Japan and Europe. It is not yet confirmed whether the North American release will be brought forward as well.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam sees the Mario & Luigi series crossing styles and elements with Paper Mario. Players control a party made up of Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario, with each character's action controlled by a specific face button. The game is being developed by AlphaDream exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
